While mental health concerns have been trending upwards over the past 10 years & remain high in our most recent data, the 22-23 data reveal slightly lower levels of anxiety + depression & higher levels of flourishing relative to 21-22.

Our November #DataPointoftheMonth shows declining levels of flourishing (positive mental health) from 2012-22 in #HealthyMinds. In 2012, over half of students (57.1%) met the threshold for flourishing, compared to 28.9% in AY 2021-22. @DrSarahLipson @sashazhou @BUexperts @BUSPH
