The most severe damage occurred to buildings at Pushkinska Street 70, 65, and 68, as well as at Rizdviana Street 17, 19, 21, and Kotsarska Street 3, which are located closest to the missile impact site.

The areas with dense historical development that were hit include the Zalopan district, with buildings dating from the 18th to the 20th century, and the central part of the city with buildings from the late 19th to the early 20th century.

The surrounding architecture has high density, mostly preserving authentic constructions and decorations, including brick walls, wooden ceilings and stairs, wooden rafter systems, plaster decoration of walls, and ceilings with wattle.

The damaged buildings include a private medical facility, a court, and objects important for the city's socio-cultural life, hosting various cultural events such as the "Fabrika Space" community center and the "Trypichia" restaurant.

Among the damaged cultural heritage sites, there are instances of damaged glass in 19 locations, internal decorations in 11, roof damage, and the formation of structural cracks, which will impact further deterioration of these objects through the progression of crack opening.

📌 Russian military shelled Kharkiv again, causing damage to historical buildings. Yesterday, on January 16, around 22:00, two missiles hit the Zalopan district — one of the oldest historical areas of Kharkiv with dense historical architecture from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
