For the people who commented, that I wrote this because it was a small race or because it is "normal". That was not the reason. The reason why we will look into this is because riders reached out to me regarding this situation, and I am following their requesr. Cobbles are not a…
Im a little confused
@GPDenainPDH
, I thought your race is register as a road race or am I wrong and it was a CycloCross race? Please tell me this image is not from your race and the riders were racing on thick much over the road?
@HansenAdam
And you need to ask to the organization publicly by Twitter? Is not better to call them and ask about safety reasons in private?
Looks like you do it publicly because you have to show that you work.
@HansenAdam
A hell of a lot of people say that riders views 'need to be heard', but when they speak they say 'not like that'.
Apparently the riders are doing speaking all wrong.
Thank goodness that there are social media commentators/journos with the time on their hands to set them right. 🙄
@HansenAdam
It is a difficult one. Because yes, crashes shaped this race and that is mainly because of the mud and thick dried mud too. But, like was said in comms, a race the size of this can't afford cobbled sector washing really, like Roubaix can! The conditions werw expected....
@HansenAdam
Absolutely not normal a road race needs to tackle such dangerous passages. Road is road and that means it must be passable as a road. Who does not agree with that does not belong in road cycling. There is gravel, mtb, CX, ... plenty of options for them.
@HansenAdam
Crazy how many weirdos are on here making it known they don't care about the riders. You can't watch racing if no one turns up because it's unsafe.
@HansenAdam
Sí, te llamaron en directo los corredores para informarte.... Anda tira flipao🤣🤣🤣🤣, que sí por tí o algunos fuera, se acabaría corriendo todas las carreras por Zwift 🤓🤓...
