Systems-level thinking & action are the key to reducing barriers for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ YYA. There are opportunities to enact changes in big systems, like in Texas policy at the #TXLege, and in small systems, like in individual school districts & at clinics. #TNOYSTownHall

A3: Engaging parents & caregivers to prepare them with the tools they need to promote healthy development is a major opportunity. Improving parent understanding of/attitudes towards sex education removes barriers for YYA who need parent consent to participate in sex ed programs.
