@GrowingJohnsons They do it for the moola as it makes a lot. However, kinda sucks if you get a year with no tourists. Many localities are making ordinances on where they can be located to protect local communities for that very reason.

@GrowingJohnsons I’m so sick of airbnbs. I kind of wish we could be like the indigenous Hawaiians and be like “please don’t come here” until ppl who need housing have a place to live. It’s frustrating that we can’t find a house, and rent prices are insane😞

@GrowingJohnsons Air BnBs make so much more money than renting AND being a landlord SUCKS. Wish these people would stop trying to make a living from AirBnB. We’ve been in the same house for 20 years and can’t afford to move. 🙄

@GrowingJohnsons All the houses I've looked at over the past year & a half (with the exception of a handful) are air bnbs or rentals who are charging ridiculous prices. A townhouse I made an appointment for is being rented for $2800 a month. If I'm spending $2800 a month on a house, it should= 🏰
