ROAD RAGE INCIDENT, LOOKING FOR PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE. On 3/1/25, at 5:00 PM, the Groton Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a motorist alleging an altercation in a restaurant parking lot with another motorist over a parking space. See reply for additional information

Press Release:. October 23, 2024 - At 3pm, members of the Groton Police and Fire Departments responded to Main Street for a report of a person riding an electric bike that was struck by a car. The matter is currently under investigation.

Update 12/22/23: Bane is heading home this afternoon to recover at home with his handler and family. Thank you for all of the well wishes these last few days. 💙🐾

Update from his handler: Bane is doing well. The doctors at Tufts are giving him a few days to recover. His next hurdle is surgery on his hip which they think will be done next week. Thank you everyone for your kind words. We very much appreciate all of the support 🐾💙.

Come & visit our Car Seat Checkpoint on December 26, 2023 from 10-12 PM at the Center Fire Station. Appointments preferred - techs will make sure the seat is installed properly, is the right 1 for your child's age/weight, & that it isn't expired - yes they have expiration dates!
