@GovernmentZA The motto "!ke e: ǀxarra ǁke" on South Africa's coat of arms is in the ǀXam language (a Khoisan language) and translates to "diverse people unite" or "unity in diversity." It symbolizes the nation's commitment to harmony among its varied cultures and peoples.

@GovernmentZA You have a language on the coat of arms that is not an official language of this country. Why would u use it on a coat of arms if you refuse to recognise it as an official language?

Hiring top engineers shouldn’t take 3+ months. One Pre-Seed NYC startup hired a machine learning engineer in just 21 days using Fonzi Match Day. Here’s how. 🧵

@GovernmentZA The !Ke=People / !Qu=Person in Xam is the foundational word for indigenous words such as Tuu (Xoo), Ju (Ju’hoansi), N|u (N|uki), Qwa (Damara) & Khoe (Khoemana), Tho in (Sotho/Tswana/Sepedi), Thu (Venda), nTu (Nguni) or nHu (Shona), all meaning same thing People!

@GovernmentZA Simply - 99,9% of people do not know what it is - I would guess if you asked parliamentarians to "write down the wording on the coat of arms - without cues or prompts" - they would probably majority get it fundamentally wrong... most of us think it means - lie, steal and corrupt.
