Today we embrace Clarice Evone Phelps, an American Nuclear Chemist researching the processing of radioactive transuranic elements at the US Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Lab. She was part of ORNL's team that helped discover tennessine (element 117). #Blackinchem

Nothing like the sight of 1000+ college students lining up along Cleveland Ave cheering on *a tree*. Specifically the Rockefeller Christmas tree @30rocktree, heading to NYC. The students were so giddy and joyous! #newarkDE #rockefellertree #christmastree #christmasnyc

Thank you Chem Comm for the opportunity to share our thoughts on how peptidoglycan is sensed. Congratulations CBI fellow and teammate, @genevacrump1 on leading and writing your first, first author paper @UDResearch @UDelCBI.
We recommend 'Revisiting peptidoglycan sensing: interactions with host immunity and beyond' by Catherine L. Grimes @CLGrimesLab Find it here 👇
