The US fought brutal wars and committed war crimes on the other side of the World because it believed allowing political ideologies that did not support capitalism were a threat to it’s national security.

@GarlandSculptor Hey Whataboutist! That's definitely a fair justification for putin's war crimes in Ukraine! "If they killing innocent people why can't we?" Glory to putin!

@BernhardEger The difference is Russia had real security interest…instead of protecting US corporations from socialism. What you call whataboutism…I call comparative analysis.

@GarlandSculptor @RogerLi53799411 Ideological differences are only a pretext. Consider the # of ideologically-aligned nations Americans have invaded, undermined, bombed into the stone age. Consider Americans’ recent terrorist attack against civilian infrastructure of its own ideologically-aligned ally, Germany.

@hassandavis @RogerLi53799411 Yes, we invade democracies and support dictators if it meets the needs of US capitalism. And of course to feed the war machine.

@GarlandSculptor The US doesn't have national interest, it only has oligarchic interest.
