@GamesRadar
ceo blames busy games release schedule, former dev blames it being single player
ever considered it didn't sell because it wasn't very good ? think i might have solved this mystery !
@GamesRadar
What was an awful idea was the game's absurd concept for a magic-based Call of Duty with a lame setting on top of it.
BioShock Infinite sold over 15M copies lifetime, being a story-based AAA singleplayer shooter.
@GamesRadar
I wanted a cool high quality first person wizard game where you did cool creative shit with magic like combine spells for new effects, and other shit. We got an unoptimized over budget FPS with the "spells" just being various guns. No creativity, nothing interesting, just guns
@GamesRadar
I've literally never heard of this game until today when everyone is saying it flopped because it's single player. Maybe you need to actually tell people about your game if you want them to buy it?
@GamesRadar
Not an awful idéa if executed and developped properly, just look at BG3, in what way BG3 is in today games standart, the game/plot/gameplay was just poorly executed, that's it, stop blaming it on season/battlepass and other bullshit "standart" of today industry.
@GamesRadar
I don't think that being a shooter is the reason for it to not reach success it's just that by the reviews and gameplay that I've seen it looks underwhelming in some elements while trying to be this huge AAA game whice maybe ie shouldn't have been.
@GamesRadar
Make a good game and people will support it. I commend them for taking a risk with this one and attempting something new but let's be honest, it wasn't a blockbuster.
