@shinobi602 10M for Indiana Jones seems extremely presumptuous since the IP isn’t even that relevant anymore.

Starfield and Bethesda's Indiana Jones were forecasted to sell 10 million copies on PS5, according to court documents. Microsoft believes it could offset lost sales through "upside to Game Pass and increased console sales". Via:

@GRIMMYRAX It sounds like it's combined from my reading of it. I think a theoretical PS5 version of Starfield probably would have pushed over 5 million copies eventually. It's going to be huge. But yeah, I feel like people are really overestimating Indiana Jones' popularity.

@GRIMMYRAX @shinobi602 The new movie cost $300 million to make, not including marketing expenses. Its not done well to say the least.

@GRIMMYRAX @shinobi602 It doesn't matter if an IP is relevant if a game is good. As long as it is good, it will sell

@GRIMMYRAX @shinobi602 If it's a great indy game, I would expect it to sell at least 3 million, maybe more

@GRIMMYRAX @shinobi602 Given how the new movie is tanking at the box office I'd be surprised if there's any interest left in Indiana Jones at all.

@GRIMMYRAX @shinobi602 Sounds like you don't know what you're talking about, not all gamers are 12 years old and the people who were crazy for Indiana Jones are the ones who have the consoles the PCs and the dollar bills now.
