How can AI be used in healthcare settings, especially in LMIC settings? Yasmina Al Ghadban showcases just how by speaking on - SMARThealth GPT: Large Language Models for Improved Maternal Care in Resource-Constrained Environments 💫

Maxine Pepper bringing us back to climate change and highlighting how important it is to identify the context of prior studies with her abstract on ambient heat exposure in pregnancy and risk of preterm delivery in Brazil 💫

Our second oral abstracts session chaired by Prof Joy Lawn from our National Steering Committee 💫 Dr Martin Chebet starting us off, speaking on the the effectiveness of household alcohol-based hand rub for the prevention of severe illness in Ugandan infants ✨

How often do you think about climate change and its impact on maternal health? Dr Ana Bonell and Dr Yahaya Idris highlighted the impact of extreme heat on maternal health with research done in The Gambia and suggest some potential interventions to improve outcomes ✨

An insightful keynote from Dr Robert and Dr Genesis on maternal mental health research and practice in low and middle income countries ✨ . @RCObsGyn
