This morning, the Macon community gathered to launch GOALs - the Georgia Online Application Licensing System. Our new licensing system retires paper applications & slashes the time professionals wait for a license. Today was a milestone for licensed professionals in Georgia!

We could post the ballot manifests & machine-counted batch totals, so that everyone can follow along &, when the hand counts come in, verify that the numbers match. But, if we did that before the audit finishes, some might question whether that gives auditors a "number to hit."

Tomorrow, Georgia counties are starting a random sample of ballot batches by hand as part of a Risk Limiting Audit (RLA) of the November 4th PSC/Municipal election. We want this audit to be as transparent as possible.
