New work from the Bell-Pedersen and Sachs labs shows how ribosome positioning is circadian clock controlled! The ribosomal protein eL31 binding to the ribosome is circadian; eL31 loss disrupted translation rhythms, termination, and elongation fidelity of 1/2 of N. crassa mRNAs.

New from the He and Liu labs details how the Paf1C is important for the circadian clock. Here, the authors show that loss of Paf1C proteins leads to a shorter clock period due to altered frq transcription elongation, Ser2P, global H2BK131ub, and frq ORF H3K36me3 in Neurospora!!
