My theory is that he saw the roles his peers (specifically Dave Bautista) were getting and said, “I can do those roles. Why am I not in those roles?” And the switch was flipped to what we have here.

I also think to a large part, like Joe said here most big name acts not going somewhere that’s going to really push back. I think that’s why Kendrick had SZA interview him for Harper’s Bazar instead of somebody from the publication. It was a pretty controlled environment.

I honestly believe Drake isn’t going to sit down with anyone who is going to provide push back. So we see him with Adin Ross, and the Bobby chick. After everything he’s not sitting with Elliot or BDot, Joe, Ebro, Breakfast Club, Big Boy, Either Angela(Martinez or Yee), etc.
