The outpouring of emotion and feeling for Jimmy Bell today from the current team and so many ex players speaks for itself. Heartfelt, funny, above all: genuine. An integral part of the fabric of the club for decades. Jimmy should be posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame.

A HOF is about stories and characters. If we were being serious and po-faced about it (which, spoiler alert, I have been over the years) we’d have about half as many in there as we should.

Agreed. I'm also loving the suggestion I saw somewhere that we fill Ibrox entirely with fans wearing retro-tops from his time as the kit man on Thursday, would be a fitting tribute.
