I’m not sure I would define that district as a swing district anymore. It moved sharply to the left during the Trump era. But she has has done well electorally in the district.

The Democratic Party of Florida has very little going for it. Anna Eskamani is one of the few bright spots. We lose because the state party has no vision, organization, infrastructure, or long-term strategy. If they want to win, start acting more like Anna. She actually cares.

The job of democratic party leadership is to get Republicans elected, so of course somebody like Anna makes their job (losing) very difficult. She is the enemy of the Florida corporate aristocracy.

She wins. She knocks on doors and talks to constituents. I’m concerned that new leadership seems focused on twitter takes, etc. We need a ground game.
