Can't say enough about the job Deivi Garcia did for the Yankees tonight. All the pressure in the world on the kid with the losing streak, facing a sweep, etc, and he goes out and throws seven innings of two-run ball in his third MLB start. Retired 15 of the last 16 he faced.

Deivi Garcia is good at baseball and is 21 and that’s all I’m gonna say about that. Knowing that him and Clark Schmidt will be full time in our rotation next season brings me so much joy

Agreed—but changing subjects—how do they keep Gary Sanchez in the starting lineup? I know he’s out or minors options—but it’s time for the mysterious “hamstring pull” or “sore back” and a long stint on the IL to let him get away from baseball and re-set.
