It was great honour to Collated and Installed as a Canon of Sheffield yesterday. Many thanks to the Bishop and Dean. It was a real joy to have so many family and friends there which meant a great deal to me. Thanks be to God. @carver_street

The Charity Commission has accepted our proposal to merge the several charities that we administer into one: FSJ(UK)TA. This will streamline our reporting whilst allowing us to continue to support projects and individuals under the objectives of all the original charities.

Very much looking forward to seeing family and friends on Sunday at the Cathedral. If you are coming please note that there will be a drink at the Cathedral after the service but then there will be further drinks and food up the road back at St Matthew’s. All are welcome.

A good meeting. Grateful for excellent colleagues.
The Directors met today at St Andrew, Holborn. We set a budget for 2026 and began a process of renewing our safeguarding policy and procedures, amongst other business. We are looking forward to next year which is the 160th anniversary of the foundation of SSJE.

For the past 12 days we have been delighted to host Fr Luke Chigwanda, GenSec of the Anglican Council of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Fr Luke visited various places and undertook a visit to Walsingham where we hope to foster links between @ShrineOLW and the Bernard Mizeki Shrine in Zimbabwe.

A very good thread. The vast majority of people I know who are opposed to the ordination of women are women and Watch and others are desperate to silence them. Why are they so insecure about the minority?
We need to talk about @WATCH_ACT and their current attack on traditional Anglo Catholics and the structures which enable us to stay in the CofE. two lies that we are driven by mysogony and we are privileged.🧵1/7

The LyCiG Team has been in the Diocese of Southwark @SouthwarkCofE this week. Everyone is getting stuck in to mapping their Galilee! Great ideas, conversations and plans, and we're only half way through!

I have had a blessed and varied day in the parish. Giving thanks for all our people and all they do. I am very much looking forward to hosting the annual Catholic Evangelism Lecture next Friday and then celebrating our Patronal Festival Mass and procession next Saturday. Join us!
