GIS is incredible technology. It makes it possible to view almost everything in our district— water lines, valves, meters and so much more.

Our water is sampled and tested regularly by means of flushing waterlines. Flushing and sampling occurs on a periodic basis as well as following any waterline repair. If you see Jimmy out and about, be sure to wave hello!

Tomorrow, March 22nd is World Water Day. This day is held to highlight the importance of fresh, safe water. We all are thankful for the technology and innovations that allow us to have clean water at our fingertips, especially when so many others go without.

No matter the conditions, these guys work hard to restore main breaks as quickly as possible! They are happy to be serving our district everyday.

We cannot let Engineers Week go by without recognizing this group of guys! We’re so thankful for our engineers and all they do to ensure our district has well-designed infrastructure as well as keeping things interesting around the office. Happy Engineers Week!

Today we recognize our Capital Construction crew. With having this team on our side, we are able to handle much of our own infrastructure installation needs. We are thankful for their hard work and dedication to First Utility in order for us to better meet the needs.

One thing our General Manager, Bruce Giles always says is, "No one in our organization is more important, we just have different jobs". He reminds us of this often, and his leadership is one of the many reasons we have the best team out there!
