Ahh FC26 - a game where I will concede 4-5 fouls a game without pressing tackle, but my opponent will spam tackle, miss 50+ tackles and concede no fouls. This is elite game design EA. Congrats

It feels like a football game again to me, where the open angles are correct and natural. It was a skill gap, I was decent at it, but it wasn't pleasing or fun for a football purist at all. Now nerf defensive AI and this will be a game again!

The best thing about the GK movement nerf is that you can actually take the natural scoring option angle! It hurts my brain to see the open finesse, or cross low driven, that would be natural in a real football scenario - and have to take the alternative option.

On paper this patch is a massive L - however, played a few games today in rivals and felt like the defensive AI was a little less OP (maybe just better gameplay) possible soft patch?

I cannot believe there's a single person defending the current state of FC26 console gameplay. It is absolutely horrendous, dropback spam through ball simulator. Game punishes you for manually defending, playing aggressive and dominating football. @EASFCDirect you are clueless

The defensive skill gap in FC26 has hit an all time low. Huge fall off from day 1 release. It's so frustrating. Having defenders get TWO chances at a tackle before I can turn once with my attacker is absolutely horrific game design/balance.

It's FC47 and we're still forced to play on random camera angles in a competitive game mode because of the home team stadium.... Can't wait

Game is so frustrating recently but one thing is for sure, this Jovana Damnjanović EVO is absolutely insane. 139G/A in 63 games in Champs and Rivals. She was the best player at the womens 7's tournament last summer which Bayern won, great to watch. Very fun card!

@AlexionIQ - no AI interceptions, collisions, tackles from behind. First time, single frame passing works, game is fast and fluid and fun - it's intuitive. I'd pay another £100 to go back to this to be honest

4321 is the only formation I can enjoy this year because all midfielders and attackers contribute. Goals don't only funnel to the ST, or the same few plays over and over. Everybody is viable on every attack.

Called it as soon as the patch came out - 95 depth auto press, tackle spam and insane defensive AI - it's so fucking unrewarding to play this game against the CPU Would love to know if retention/spend is up, because I can't believe even the casuals think the game is better now

This is an absolute must for 11k. She's great in game and will be evolvable again soon I suspect.

FC26 rivals rewards are unbelievably 💩 - nothing over 50k all year.... or from champs for that matter. Just give me 100k coins for 30 points and 10k coins per champs win. Packs are useless
