5/6 Finally, the Evmos Foundation intends to distribute the ICF grant back to the community. We appreciate the contributions of all builders, validators, and community members who have supported Evmos.

4/6 Altiplanic, the core contributor to the Evmos codebase, will no longer be contributing to the project. The Evmos Foundation will continue supporting critical node infrastructure until end of May 2025.

3/6 As part of this transition, @fekunze will step away from his role as a core Evmos contributor while continuing to advise the ICF on Cosmos EVM’s interoperability and modular EVM architecture.

2/6 @cosmos blockchains will now be able to integrate Cosmos EVM for full EVM compatibility (JSON-RPC), Light EVM configuration for native ERC-20 tokens (Ethereum Wallet Support), create Permissioned or Restricted EVMs, build Custom Opcodes, EVM extensions and more.
