A thing about AI hardware platforms is that it includes DESKTOPS/LAPTOPS as well as servers. Cisco will never be able to full stack AI because it will never sell desktops or laptops leaving it a laggard in the AI sector.

The reason electric vehicles are falling in price is obvious - they were vastly overpriced. Early adopters paid a first generation premium - which was stupid. Prices are resetting to what market will bear - roughly similar to fossil cars which are 40-60% cheaper.

One thing I think about Nvidia is that when the AI bubble bursts/deflates, they will switch to shipping hyperconverged x86 servers & take market share from Cisco/Dell/HPE/Lenovo to keep hardware revenues going while they build a software moat. My guess is within 6 months

Why train generative AI models when no one wants to pay for products that have ‘AI’. For example, Apple isn’t charging extra for its AI tools and that’s a big marker.
Sell your excess GPUs while you can. The end is near. Cloud providers that didn't have A100s 6 months ago, while we desperately looked for 8, are now rushing to rent them to us. I'm serious. This is your chance.
