Hundreds of protesters have taken over Hennessy Road outside Sogo in Causeway Bay. Most people here seem to be moving westwards.

“ #HongKong people, add oil,” protesters in Causeway Bay chanted as everyone walks westwards.

“Open your umbrellas to protect yourself, some people are throwing items from above,” shouted this protester in Wan Chai. Protesters here are telling us they are heading towards Central.

A few protesters are seen waving the “ #HongKong Independence” flag in Wan Chai as they march towards Central. “Liberate #HongKong , the revolution of our time,” some chanted.

A helicopter can be seen flying over the protest route in Wan Chai. It was very loud when it was right above us, and everyone was looking at the sky.

Protesters can be seen marching both ways - eastwards and westwards - on Hennessy Road near the Southorn playground. This is what happens when @hkpoliceforce bans a proper march.

@hkpoliceforce Riot police fired more tear gas onto protesters on Harcourt Road from Wan Chai. A protester said using a loudspeaker that people should retreat from the bridge as riot police could be moving in from the police HQ shortly.
