When they not only change the character's race but also make them worse for no reason.

I talked about this awhile back. There are several reasons for why these writers remove any traces of masculinity from the personalities and designs of male characters. If Shaggy is a simp and a cuck that means he’s no longer “a threat”.

The people behind this trend view traditionally masculine traits as inherently evil and dangerous. That’s why there isn’t a hint of masculinity in new designs. To them feminine straight male and stereotypical gay/bi characters are “S A F E” and treated like neutered pets.
