People really went from bitching about how the america chavez' actress was too light skin for the character to people praising the Percy Jackson casting...
βB-but the author-β
Idc.
The whole point is that people are obviously biased in this βrace accuracyβ bullshit.
If the opposite happened we all know that there would be millions of posts about how wrong the author/casting director was for it.

ya'll havn't realised it's just black ethno-narcissism if not outright nationalism yet? π₯±
black good yt bad, that's all there is to it in their mind.
@EnjoyerFive
I do the sane thing with the diversity quota they have.
Holywood: Let's tick boxes here people. White man bad remember.
Me: How about autism for the hero since you're looking at diversity and inclusion
Hollywood:....
@EnjoyerFive
"So what if this group of beloved recognizable characters were all originally white, its okay to raceswap them, why are you afraid of seeing minorities" - Says the type that'll have a panic attack at the sight of more than 2 white people occupying the same space.
@EnjoyerFive
1. Any character who isn't white was made mostly because of representation hence why whitewashing would be different than blackwashing.
2. The actors are chosen via personality not looks which means y'all care about the characters looks than personality
@EnjoyerFive
ngl the casting really makes me not interested in watching the series any longer, i just want to see our original trio.
idec if grover's indian here, but at least get accurate looking annabeth, she was supposed to look like a typical cali girl.
