I find it funny how they decided to unify the Kiwami logos under a new extremely hard design, and then immediately threw it all out of the window in favor of a basic Microsoft font in Kiwami 3 lmao

Offtopic but the old engine looked so good in DDD HD. I feel like they perfected it combined with the high resolution. It looks incredible. They will probably never use it again but I loved how it looked.

As a reminder, Square Enix plans to launch several major titles in FY2027 (April 2026-March 2027.) These are in addition to other new titles and ports. The large-scale games confirmed in development are KH4, FFVIIR-3, and DQXII.

Not to mention, KH3 was announced in 2013 and then it got updates of some kind on pretty much a yearly basis until it released.

01/23/2020 was the last time Kingdom Hearts had a release that was like an actual game in the series. We have never had a hiatus like this before. After KH2 it took till 2008 to get Re:CoM, 2009 Days, 2010 BBS, 2011 Re:coded, 2012 DDD, 2013 1.5, 2014 2.5, 2017 2.8, 2019 KH3.
