It’s alive on BioRxiv! Super excited to present our paper on CRISPRi-based screens in 3D neuron-astrocyte-microglia co-culture (iAssembloids) to examine neuron-glia interactions. Description of this work in the thread below! Too many words! (1/8) https://t.co/tszpNqFWQJ

Astrocyte friends: I’m in need of advice. I’m looking for a good astrocyte antibody and a tamoxifen-Inducible Cre driver line for hippocampal astrocytes. What would you recommend?

Very excited to present our recent preprint! This was a massive effort over the past three years that investigates the complex biology of high-confidence ASD (hcASD) genes during early timestamps of neurogenesis using single-cell CRISPRi. https://t.co/juHC9hE4rx

Of course, last but not least, none of this study would be possible without the support of my awesome mentor @MartinUCSF who makes our work possible and the @KampmannLab such a fun place to do science! (8/8)

Our platform expands the toolbox indeed,   To understand the brain’s cell-cell feed,  With iAssembloids and CRISPRi,   We’ll uncover mechanisms in reply  And in scientific progress, we will proceed.  (6/8)
