@POCOG1⁩’s Luna reviewed #bereavement resources available in an Australian hospital. Spoiler🚨 resources had high reading level, low actionability, none addressed First Nations people, & few for #CALD communities. #COSA23 #PsyOnc #PallCare@UsydPsych

#NationalWomensHealthWeek starts each year on Mother’s Day. This health observance encourages women and girls to make their health a priority. Many do not know the symptoms associated with #endometriosis, so #endo awareness is a continued priority.

Instead of reaping the advantages of a windfall profits tax, we’re giving $12.9 billion a year in subsidies to fossil fuel industries. This is wealth we’re denying the next generation.

Australia & Norway both have hugely profitable fossil fuel industries but Norwegians receive a much larger & fairer share of the revenue. Australians are paying too much for gas at home & not getting a fair share of returns from exports. We need a windfall profits tax! #auspol

Saturation as a marker of #qualitative quality is overrated. However, if that's your goal, this systematic review is your friend. It concludes that, given the right analytic practices, 9-17 interviews or 4-8 focus groups can lead to saturation.

Excited my second paper from my PhD research is published in @jcansurv! Health care providers perceive CVD in cancer is important, but feel they cannot address it alone. Diverse suggestions for optimising care: multi-component approach needed? @Flinders https://t.co/2WipJJ4DFu

It's becoming and harder and harder to deliver a certain quality and standard when resourcing/funding has not kept up with demand. For GPs especially. For hospital specialists as well.

Let’s not pretend that healthcare can exist without funding. Let’s not pretend that healthcare can exist without quality & standards. Let’s not pretend that convenience should trump either of those. Access is different to convenience. The latter is a commercial term

The proposed Narrabri Pilliga gas project is unwanted and unwarranted. It should be rendered illegal by the revised EPBC Act. It’s time for our government to walk the walk. https://t.co/uC1x4Mzlee

Hey @nocsg it seems the Federal Government has abandoned the Liverpool Plains. This could be the venue to remind the world of the status of water and land on the plain re gas invasion.Second only to the soils of Ukraine.
