A common form of online harassment is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying can be a range of different actions such as degrading someone's image or persona online through comments. Yet, cyberbullying can also happen directly between two people instead of being broadcasted #RUDCIM_SP20

While I am not apart of a social virtual world. One example of this type of world would be Fortnite. While I have never personally played this game, I know that players can customize their avatars and 100 users compete against one another simultaneously. #RUDCIM_SP20

An example of a counter public would be Tumblr. While many people do not still use Tumblr, it allows users to create usernames that do not reveal their true identity and users are able to communicate in smaller groups while simultaneously attracting an audience. #RUDCIM_SP20

Whereas on the page, I run for my job, I am much more active in the online gymnastics community and interacting with people who are apart of the community. On my work page I am more than just a follower.

An online community I consider myself to be a part of is Instagram. Much like, other social media sites Instagram consists of many communities within the community. On my personal Instagram page, I follow the fitness and beauty community. #RUDCIM_SP20

Virtualization takes away from the physical aspects of conversation such as touch or recognizing facial expressions. However, it allows people to say things they wouldn't necessarily say to someone in person.

I feel as though the interpersonal aspect of face to face interactions cannot be replicated through virtual interactions. Likewise, there seems to be a confidence factor in virtualized conversations. #RUDCIM_SP20
