Béla Tarr was a titan of European Art House filmmaking. His last feature, the austere, hypnotic and darkly funny The Turin Horse premiered at EIFF back in 2011. A huge loss. RIP.

We are shocked and saddened by the death of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Reiner. In a world so often filled with senseless cruelty and violence, Reiner's beautiful, hilarious and stirring films offer comfort and wisdom. His contribution to cinema lives on.
