This is true. Online labbing means I have to fail a few times before I find my way into getting consistent success with a move. But not many people are willing to go through the growing pains of practice, or are quick to shut down something if it doesn’t work the one time.

Yeah, there are big voices that are really against change and want to keep 2K at a spot where they've been successful. We've seen it now, devs try to make the game more skill based, but when it comes to building skill...

Shot aiming is not a skill gap it was a shitty attempt from 2k and it was terrible. Just like shooting this year, 2k needs to focus on getting rid of the awful lag in park and Rec instead of changing shooting. 2k devs lack creativity so they change things that don't need it
