One of the many highlights of the @ECORISC_CDT conference was the four short films from the World Water Film Festival. Thanks so much to Robert Strand (@rstrandini) and Milin Patel (@MilinonWater) for facilitating access to the films

We have had a fantastic first day of the @ECORISC_CDT conference. The presentations were great and we had two excellent interactive sessions. A highlight was @AngelCeballoos leading discussions with the aid of his trusty sword.

Day 1 of the @ECORISC_CDT conference ended with a water tasting activity led by @MilinonWater. Yorkshire tap water did particularly well.

The @ECORISC_CDT meeting concluded with a group photo of the first cohort of students who, over the next few months, will be finishing their PhDs. They have all done some fantastic and impactful work in the last 4 years.

An excellent piece by Phoebe Weston in the Guardian today covering some of our initial findings from the @NERCscience ECOMIX project on chemical mixtures in Yorkshire's rivers.

The list of everyday pollutants is a long one, and they could be as damaging to our water ecosystems as sewage spills

This is an example of real world #impact from the @ECORISC_CDT scientists and #NationalCapability investment. Thanks for this follow up to share with partners like @DefraChiefScien @DefraNature @JNCC_UK @UK_CEH @NaturalEngland to raise awareness.
Our written evidence setting out the state of chemical pollution and interactions with climate change in Antarctica has been published by the EAC! It was a pleasure to lead on this with my fellow ECORISC PhDs.
