ASAT tests, intentional debris generating events, are reckless and should be internationally banned. It puts lives at risk and jeopardizes all space assets.

US State Dept confirms the Russian antisatellite missile test. I condemned the 2007 Chinese test, the 2008 US test, the 2019 Indian test, and I equally condemn this one. Debris-generating antisatellite tests are a bad idea and should never be carried out.

For those paying attention, we launched Wednesday afternoon. This is first light on a SAR satellite, with deployable structures, less than 60 hours after launch. It’s an amazing team that worked incredibly hard to do this. They cant all be this easy but it’s fun when it is.

“First Light” images from our newest #SAR satellite have been released! #Giza #Ijen #BocaChica The team is delighted with the 50cm resolution quality data. We look forward to providing even more imaging capacity from the Capella Constellation after final calibrations.

Amazing work by the team to get to this point. Getting things right is more important than going fast, but with practice and hard work in improving systems, tools, and processes you can do both 😁

Also wouldn’t have been possible without the most kick-ass group of people ever, we’ve come a long way from a Palo Alto garage. Super proud of the what everyone did to make this happen.

Super hyped to be able to share the footage from our reflector deployment. Best day at work ever. There may also be a relationship between doing space deployables and going bald 🤔

We have been seeing a steady growth in the mean age of the TLE data since the beginning of February, with values of 2.0 days or more being the norm at least part of each day over the past week.
