I'm starting to think data driven decision making is a sign of weak leadership, especially when discussing product. The data never suggests doing something novel. There are no metrics for the unknown.
I did it in 16 small code changes instead of one XL change. It was a pain, felt like forever, but the code review I got was much more thorough and there was no stress when each change shipped.
This person, a full grown adult, tried chips and salsa for the first time and said "OMG where have you been my whole life?" and I am left wondering the same.
