Students, staff, and administrators across MISD joined the Salvation Army bell-ringing campaign this holiday season. Nearly 400 volunteers from 50 campuses, departments, clubs, and teams participated. Now in its ninth year of participation, MISD is projected to raise $15,000.

Tonight, we honored students from Lake Ridge. This group of students made the College Board National Awards list. Students earn this award by excelling on College Board assessments and meeting specific criteria. This will help our students stand out on college and scholar apps.

At the board meeting, we celebrated Mansfield ISD being named a CTE District of Distinction for the second year in a row by the Career & Technical Association of Texas—recognizing innovation, workforce readiness, and high-quality CTE programs. Congrats!

Tonight, we honored Ella Beason, a LR senior and member of the LR marching band. Over the Thanksgiving break, Ella had the opportunity to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade as a drum major for the Macy’s Great American Marching Band. She performed in front of millions!
