Some depressing stats from Amnesty International today @EducationFest: Gen z men more likely to think feminism is harmful, 79% teachers stated that lack of respect for women teachers is negatively impacting boys learning in the classroom. @GSAUK

Thanks @EducationFest 4 giving me the 1st speaking slot so I could relax & enjoy inspiring speakers such as @DavidOlusoga “We have a long history of telling half truths & missing chapters”. How can we teach about the Industrial Revolution without mentioning slave industry @GSAUK

I’m so excited to be speaking at the @EducationFest TOMORROW. “150 years later, where are we on gender equality”. We’ve come a long way but our research shows we still have work to do, particularly in business and politics. Join me at 9.30am.

This week, visits to not 1 but 2 of the 170+ amazing girls’ schools we represent. Always in awe of the work our schools do in championing girls. Today our Higher Education meeting, generously hosted by @bathuniversity, bringing together colleagues from across the education sector

Then today onto the @GSAUK pastoral excellence conference. In awe of the amazing pastoral leads across GSA schools, sharing best practice today alongside expert psychotherapists and child psychologists. Expertly chaired by @will_lefleming

Thrilled to join colleagues at the @BSAboarding conference today. A particular highlight was Dame Inga Beale, first female CEO of Lloyds. Congrats to @SherborneGirls, @wycombeabbey international, @GodstoweSchool and all other winners in the BSA awards.

It was a joy to listen to a selection of GSA pupils singing in unison our specially commissioned 150th choral piece (composed by @SimonLole). I’m excited about our celebratory film where I had the privilege to speak alongside other great leaders such as @Evelynforde1 & Alun Jones

I feel so privileged to be leading @GSAUK at such an important milestone. 150 years since two trailblazing headmistresses came together to form our amazing organisation. The mission: to further education & opportunities for girls. That continues today.

What a treat to join @benendenschool in the London west end tonight with the @GSAUK team. Bravo 🎭🙌

And thank you for inviting me to lead a workshop taking colleagues through @GSAUK and @ASCL_UK shared 150 year history and a long list of brilliant women. We’ve come so far but still have work to do (as our research shows).
