In India, “Diabetology” is the biggest scam. It’s not a recognized super-specialty by the NMC. Most “diabetologists” are MBBS or MDs from non-clinical branches (like Pathology or Anatomy) with short-term diplomas. True diabetes experts = DM Endocrinologists or MD Internal

🚨 Don’t take Tuberculosis lightly. My neighbour’s 20-year-old NIT student just passed away from TB. The family hid her diagnosis fearing it might affect her marriage prospects. TB stigma kills more than the bacteria ever could. It’s curable — but only if you seek help early.

The first medical residents resided in hospitals, slept there, ate there, and couldn’t marry. 100 years later, we still basically do the same thing. Just with more caffeine. ☕🩺

🚨 “Doctor, my BP is normal now, so I stopped the medicine.” That “normal” BP was because of the medicine — not in spite of it. When you stop it suddenly, your blood pressure can shoot higher than before, a phenomenon called rebound hypertension. This can lead to: 🧠 Stroke ❤️

If you study Medical Science, please learn to save people with drugs, syringes, and scalpels, not to destroy them with guns, bombs, or poison. This profession is sacred. It’s not a weapon. Not a battlefield.

The real healthcare crisis isn’t lack of doctors. It’s patients taking advice from influencers instead of physicians. We spent 10 years learning medicine. They spent 10 minutes filming a reel.

Colleagues at MAMC say the emergency is overflowing with patients from the Red Fort blast. Can’t imagine what the teams are facing right now. Sending strength to everyone on duty tonight. 🙏

A memory from "First day of residency" My senior: “Welcome to the team, start with 10 pleural tappings.” Me: “Sir… are these today’s cases?” Him: “No son, these have been patiently waiting for juniors to join.” Truly, nothing builds character faster than merciless first year

Every minute during a stroke, 1.9 million brain cells die. Recognizing it early can save a life — maybe your own. Here’s how to remember it 👇

@DrAditya2935 My HOD in Medicine always discouraged cough syrups too. When any resident prescribed he used to ask them does it go inside the lungs and help? - they just act on the cough reflex in the brain or thin secretions a bit. If warm water , honey doesn't help, In severe cases, we go

4/5 Women’s pleasure is NOT secondary. The clitoris exists purely for pleasure — not reproduction. Ignoring it is ignoring half the experience. Sex shouldn’t hurt. If it does, there’s a cause — and most are treatable.

3/5 Porn ≠ Sex Education. It creates unrealistic expectations about performance, bodies, and consent. Real sex is about communication, comfort, and consent, not performance pressure.

2/5 “Semen is energy” is a myth. Your body produces millions of sperm daily. Semen isn’t some magical life-force; it’s a biological fluid — like tears or sweat — just with reproductive purpose.
