The gap has slowly narrowed, but women in the US still earn only 82 cents for every dollar a man makes. Once adjusted by race, the numbers get worse: Hispanic & Latino women earn 55 cents, and Black & African American women earn 63 cents. https://t.co/Q2mRXodUVD #genderequity

There are only 4 openly LGBTQ+ CEOs in the Fortune 500, and among 5,670 board of director seats, only 25 are held by self-identified LGBTQ+ executives. The underrepresentation is pervasive across all job levels. #DiversityandInclusion

What a difference a year makes! A year ago, only 14 S&P 100 companies publicly shared intersectional workforce #diversity reports (EEO-1). As of today, 60 companies have disclosed or committed to disclosing the data.

California passed SB-826 in October 2018, mandating at least 1 woman on boards of directors by the end of 2019, and 2+ for larger boards by 2021. From 2018-2020, CA-based companies showed the largest improvement in gender #diversity of any state.
