Huh. How about that.
SEGA's financial report includes a mention of IP's they're looking at for possible remaster/remake/reboot.
Hello NiGHTS.
I thought they forgot about you again.
Full financial report available here:

Although i can't afford to personally put money down on VR, i would be intrigued to see how a NiGHTS VR game would play and i'm sure a lot of other people would appreciate a NiGHTS VR game too.
@DiGi_Valentine
A Journey of Dreams remake would be so cool and make me super happy, but I know it can never happen. It's almost better off being obscure in this day and age.
@Shilze01
JoD definitely has it's strong cult fanbase, just like the original NiD has.
Whether SEGA see porting JoD as a reasonable investment is another matter entirely.
@RockMeAhmedeus
They're just listing dormant IP's and IP's that WERE dormant together in the same box.
Panzer Dragoon is listed there despite getting a Remake.
So is House of the Dead, and that has a Remake coming out in the future.

@imagni
Yeah, i'm just surprised SEGA are actually looking at dormant IP's. Maybe the recent hit with Streets Of Rage 4 have spun something in them?
Don't wanna get too optimistic about it but, well, it's nice that they're considering these things at least.
@DiGi_Valentine
A new Space Channel 5, NiGHTS, and Virtua Fighter would be cool to see.
Hopefully, another adventure for our Phantom R, where he finds his dad
