Running the length of the trans tunnel there is a long plate on each side of it that connects the transmission to the diff and stiffens everything. This is a bolt in the rear that holds it all together

So in the Sky there is this fucked up and irreplaceable bolt. This is such peak GM bullshit, lol. Thankfully we had no issues, but just one more thing to think about

Reassembled, test driven, and all issues resolved. Hot damn I can't believe we did it.

I'm still kinda in awe that we built an engine and it works. This project was a ton of firsts for us. Go out and do those car projects that intimidate you, learn and grow from the experience, it's wonderful. It's empowering.
