In no way is this defending Botts (if anything it’s a criticism) who can they trade that brings you a top 6 fwd that they can afford to trade? Friedman and Dreger laid it out that the league thinks Risto is trash. Jokiharu is not one to trade, you keep Sam, you keep Olofsson.

Montour could possibly be used in that regard. Pilut may also be a piece to consider at this point.

They’re 3 games out with 19 left to play... A little grit and leadership can go a long way here. Make the splashy trade for a center and a winger in the summer.
