The charges against Rep. Brockman are shocking and extremely serious. Given the evidence that’s publicly known, he should resign immediately so these charges do not distract from the work of the North Carolina House.

On October 9th, the Governor’s own Department of Health and Human Services affirmed in a letter to the House Health Chairs that the Medicaid Rebase is projected to be sufficiently funded through at least April 2026, yet he went ahead and cut provider reimbursement rates anyway.

Actually, @nc_governor you have the money to keep Medicaid fully funded through April. You manufactured a Medicaid crisis to play political games. Don’t blame the House. Blame your priorities.
The legislature has had months to fully fund Medicaid in North Carolina. If they can come back to manipulate election maps for partisan gain, why can’t they come back to work to secure your health care?
