Our thoughts are with everyone who has been flooded in Storm Claudia - it’s a devastating thing to suffer. There are still flood warnings in place across the country, especially in parts of Wales and the Midlands that have been impacted.

The appalling pollution incident caused by Southern Water at Camber Sands is completely unacceptable and they should be held to account. Minister for Water, Emma Hardy MP, met with the @EnvAgency and volunteers to thank them for their work supporting the clean-up.

At the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, we pause to remember those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy today. Lest we forget.
Today, on Armistice Day, the nation will fall silent at 11am, as we honour those who gave their lives for our freedom. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

I’m proud to back this ambitious roadmap to phase out animal testing more quickly. By investing £75million in alternatives, we're showing animal welfare matters while supporting cutting-edge research. A major step forward for animals and science. 🐾
We’re investing £75 million to phase out animal testing faster ❌ With cutting-edge alternatives like 3D bioprinted tissues and devices that mimic human organ functions, we're backing researchers to deliver solutions that protect animal welfare.

Today we reflect on the bravery of those who fought for our freedom. Second World War veterans Dorothea and Robbie’s visit to Downing Street was a powerful reminder of that sacrifice. Thank you, to them, and to all who served.
