“If 343 is changing store prices then they should reimburse those who bought things from the store!”
Your inability to have some willpower shouldn’t be rewarded lol. I’ve seen a few folks suggest something like this for Halo Infinite and wonder what world these folks live in.
@DecepticonCobra
Everyone was saying "Don't buy it the prices are absurd and they'll probably change them" and people bought it anyway. They shouldn't be surprised now.
@DecepticonCobra
Yeah I've seen lots of people reeeeeally feeling like they deserve reimbursement. But nah, just because fortnite did it doesn't mean it's the standard. Im just happy for everyone that 343i taking action with the shop.
As always, Im cautiously optimistic.
@EwanLivo69
Tbh as much as I'd like to have free credits I was the one who chose to buy stuff despite us knowing (or at least presuming) updates were comeing. So I don't necessarily think we're really entitled to a refund just bc we couldn't hold out. But that's just my opinion!
@DecepticonCobra
I bought some things from the store and I always had in mind that, in case there were changes, it would be all on me. I don't know what these people that ask for refunds are smoking.
@DecepticonCobra
I’ve bought multiple things from the store, and I’d rather they not reimburse me. If I can’t maintain my willpower against a videogame, there a bigger issues than me getting my money back that I should focus on first.
@DecepticonCobra
Imagine giving people back money cause they bought somthing before the sale. Hell, even irl when somthing drops in price they don't pay back those that already bought it.
@DecepticonCobra
Nintendo did this in fairness and there were no indications that they were going to adjust in the beginning. They're not obligated to reimburse people but going after the people who did buy stuff in the store at the beginning is a weird L tbh.
@DecepticonCobra
I saw some guy complain about lack of things to do after buying out the entire battlepass in the first week lmao, some people really live in another world
@DecepticonCobra
is it that the game abuses people's weaknesses, this is not a competition of who is "better" but of what subjectively morally "should be"
I don't think you should blaming a person for a company abuse of their negative tendencies
