This part was so striking. Where the crib rails actually look like jail cell bars. Because as soon as we’re born society’s labels and behavioral expectations are placed upon us. Confining us. And we don’t even understand ‘the rules’ yet. Life as a human being.

It does look like he was being prompted to be smile and made to “perform” his cute baby duties… he hid and his parent’s mood change. Like if he doesn’t act a certain way, he disappoints the ones he loves.

And every parent will experience that moment at some point because of the societal pressure put on them to raise ‘perfect children’. No matter the role, the rules and expectations to perform the role properly are there.🫠

Especially Kpop culture expectations, not being treated like an adult, keeping yourself “young”. These are like prison bars to someone like RM who “breaks” these rules and always has.
