It would be interesting if a high school pitcher tweeted about his K/BB ratio instead of his Velo. Or if a high school hitter posted a high OBP instead of exit velocity. Purely curious if he would not get any attention or if it would be so different people would take notice.

Pitchers . Here is some advice on when a teammate makes an error. Look straight at him or her and tell them its all good and that the next ball is coming their way. Don't show poor body language. They know they messed up. Get them ready for the next one!.

As youth baseball seasons begin to start up, a friendly reminder to youth coaches. No win is worth throwing a player 60+ pitches in his first couple outings of the year. Start with 40, then 50, then 60, etc. Health and longevity is more important than 1 W.

If you play D1 you’re a stud. If you play D2 you’re a stud. If you play D3 you’re a stud. If you play NAIA you’re a stud. If you play at a JUCO you’re a stud. ONLY 7% OF HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES become college athletes, it doesn’t matter what level you’re at. Be proud, BE GRATEFUL!!.

This is going to happen more and more. Heard many stories of only 1 umpire officiating games this spring as well. Ask yourself why? . We have an issue with how we treat umpires. Couple hundred calls a game, a few get missed, we lose it on them. Need to get better.
Unfortunately, due to not having any umpires, the JV game has been cancelled for today.
