Gone too soon. Imagine a Roos side qualifying for the WC through Asia like this nowadays, albeit a lot has changed since then.

A Shock to hear news like that. He did alright in 2010 aside from the German loss which cost us goal difference . He will definitely be a part of Socceroo history.

He was a good coach who steadied the ship after the Graham Arnold car wreck. His legacy was unfairly tainted by the 4-0 smashing by Germany, who would later defeat Argentina and England by a similar scoreline.
