PSA: there’s a guy named Soham Parekh (in India) who works at 3-4 startups at the same time. He’s been preying on YC companies and more. Beware. I fired this guy in his first week and told him to stop lying / scamming people. He hasn’t stopped a year later. No more excuses.

it's been awesome to see what people have built during the @onlookdev web beta. @kitaedesigns crafted an incredibly cool interactive sales pitch generator for architects. seriously impressed with the attention to detail on this!

the choice of a red-orange accent color was genius, especially when most photography will have a lot of green. visually interesting!.

whenever we build something in Onlook I'll do a pass over the code and tighten up the placement and styling which we call "sanding" internally. web design has sanding to it too and while it can feel trivial to adjust pixels, it all matters in the overall "feel" of the product.
every creative hobby has its own “90% sanding”.sewing - 90% ironing.baking - 90% measuring .fermentation - 90% waiting.

the old era of creative tools worked by niching you into a particular way of building, so eventually you're stuck with them because you can't offboard. the next era of creative tools will let you import your projects and work with them how you want (if you want!).
