Fun facts- flashback. my team named the english version of the game & wrestlers, wrote most of the text. Plus,

It seemed to just be there, like a lot of things back in those days, there wasn’t necessarily a firm story, so I pitched it for good wrestling backstory, the team in Japan was cool and adopted the things they liked

Played this game a ton as a kid and absolutely loved it. Unironically got comfortable with a lot of traditional fighting game inputs because of this game, lol.

yeah, we did some wild stuff! the over the top fireball motions, & other strange motions were definitely my fault trying to push integrating Street fighter stuff but also new commands to differentiate it. I would go on to put a bunch of those and crazier ones in Weaponlord.

I was so bummed when capcom turned the sequel into a standard FG. Slammasters was so unique. Seeing two big blues with the huge ultrawide wide marquee was awesome!

Honestly didn't know you worked on Slam Masters! Old job I had a decade ago had a cabinet in the café and I spent so much time (and money) on it. 100% classic.
